Coach Anthony Sterling has over 20 years of coaching experience as a Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator as well as a Head Track and Wrestling Coach. Update- The Burke athletic department did not want to cancel the crab crack due to limited crabs, in the Charleston area. The athletic department decided to make the fundraiser an all you can eat fish fry, this Saturday, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. The tickets are now $10. We will be serving tilapia and whiting. The Burke High School Athletic Department has been offered Free Sports Physicals for athletes. On June 11th from 8 am to 11 am, Dr. Manfred will be conducting sports physicals for Burke High School student athletes. Forms must be completed by student and parent prior to June 11th. On June 20th from 3-6 p.m. the Athletic Department will be hosting their first Crab Crack. The crab crack will be a fundraiser to help raise money for Athletic Department as a whole. This years football team will be under new leadership. The expectations for our program are great and we are very hopeful that what we are building will live up to those expectations. Today the Burke High School Athletics Program hosted a car wash. The girls basketball program was in full participation as they washed over 30 cars to raise money for their team summer camps. Sidney Robinson, member of the state championship basketball team, came out to support and assist. The car wash was a success and
